Introduction

Montrose Logistics is a new service offered by the Montrose Group providing our clients the ability to outsource some or all of their logistics. To support this service we have a dedicated IT system to utilising latest technology with computer links and real time access to data it will allow clients to see all transactions and issue delivery order picking instructions. In effect our warehouse can become your warehouse.

Extra Warehousing

Montrose can receive goods from you or your suppliers carry out inspection if required and place the goods into your dedicated stock area. You can collect what you want when you need it or you can ask us to ' pick ' the items and deliver them to you. Finished goods can also be a drain on your warehouse space. We have Storage for finished goods can then be shipped on as per your instructions. Montrose can carryout stock checks and work with your despatch documentation.

Delivery

Montrose have our own fleet of vehicles so can offer deliveries on a regular basis. We also have other couriers available or you are always welcome to collect and deliver goods yourself.

Inspection

Our trained inspectors have equipment that will meet most requirements, but if you need some other processes carried out we can arrange these for you.

Kitting

A common task for many companies involved in manufacture or assembly is putting together the picking list of components for a product build. By out sourcing these pre-production kits it will allow your staff to utilise their technical skills, give you space and increase productivity considerably. Montrose can allocate part numbers to these production kits and hold them in stock to deliver 'Just In Time' to your line side.

Inventory Costs

Montrose can retain ownership of the client inventory. That is, we will pay the supplier, and retain ownership of the goods until the client wishes to use the stock. This can have an extremely beneficial effect on stock turns and client cash flow as well as contribute to achieving desired business ratios.
