Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI)
The principle of VMI, is that we are responsible for all aspects of the supply of these products. These arrangements are all detailed in a contract which is signed by both parties. Our role is to identify and deliver sufficient quantities of all components to various line side positions to match the customers consumption pattern and consistently meet their quality requirements. Great attention is paid to managing support stocks to ensure continous supply.
Remote Ordering Systems (ROS)
This supply solution is similar to VMI except the client carries out the scanning of bar codes this automatically drawns off products from our central stores. It can be done countless times a day and simply downloaded direct to our order-picking department. The benefits are that whilst stock management and product integrity is maintained, our clientts maintain control of their own inventory but have the confidence to know we will always have everthing in stock to support them.
Procurement Service Provider (PAS)
Many companies today appreciate that purchasing is not simply a function of demand, but requires a great many skills. Skills that we have acquired and now make available to our clients. Originating in Japan and widely used throughout the United States the concept of employing a purchasing agency has many advantages. The client has a permanent purchasing office on call to carry out procurement related functions.
